Frequently Asked Questions

Does resizing lose quality?

Scaling down loses some pixel data — that is unavoidable. Scaling up (upscaling) does not add detail and can make images appear soft or pixelated. For best results, always start from the highest resolution source.

What does "lock aspect ratio" mean?

When the lock is enabled, changing the width automatically adjusts the height proportionally (and vice versa). This prevents your image from appearing stretched or squashed.

Is my image uploaded anywhere?

No. All processing uses the Canvas API directly in your browser. Your image never leaves your device.

What is the maximum output size?

Up to 16,000 × 16,000 pixels. Very large outputs may be slow on low-powered devices since the Canvas API processes them synchronously.
