How to Merge PDFs

- Upload a PDF file to see its total page count.
- Enter the page range you want to extract (e.g.,
1-3,5, or2-4,7,9-11). - Click Split & Download to save the extracted pages.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?
No. All PDF processing happens locally in your browser using the pdf-lib JavaScript library. Your files never leave your device.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no hard limit set by this tool. The practical limit depends on your browser's memory. Most PDFs under 100 MB merge without issues.
Will merging preserve bookmarks and annotations?
Page content, images, and text are fully preserved. Bookmarks (outlines) from the source documents are not carried over to the merged file in the current version.
Can I split non-contiguous pages?
Yes. Use a comma-separated list of ranges, e.g. 1-3,5,8-10 to extract pages 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 9, and 10 in order.
